Abstract
In accordance with some embodiments, systems, apparatus, interfaces, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided for ascertaining aspects of a presentation and/or of an audience member. A presentation remote can be used to obtain information about the presentation and provide it to the audience member. In some embodiments, a presentation remote may determine if an earlier meeting is running late. If so, the system may alert current attendees.

- an electronic processing device;
- a networking device;
- an input device in communication with the electronic processing device;
- and
- a memory storing (i) presentation schedule data, (ii) attendee data, and (iii) processing instructions that, when executed by the electronic processing device, result in:
- determining, in accordance with presentation schedule data, a location of a first presentation associated with the first presentation remote;
- determining, in accordance with presentation schedule data, a scheduled start time of the first presentation, thereby determining a first time;
- determining, in accordance with presentation schedule data, a second presentation scheduled at the location prior to the first presentation;

- determining whether the second time is within a first predetermined time interval of the first time;
- identifying a second presentation remote associated with the second presentation;
- soliciting, via the networking device and from the second presentation remote and based on the determination that the second time is within the predetermined time interval of the first time, an indication of the status of the second presentation;
- receiving, via the networking device and from the second presentation remote, the indication of the status of the second presentation;
- determining, based on the indication of the status, that the second presentation will end after the scheduled end time of the second presentation;
- identifying, in accordance with attendee data, an attendee of the first presentation;
- informing the attendee that the first presentation will start later than the scheduled start time of the first presentation;
