Abstract
An optical sheet 5 is an optical sheet, at least a first surface of the optical sheet has unevenness. A sparkle contrast of the first surface measured in conformity with JIS C 1006: 2019 is 4% or less. An arithmetic average roughness Ra of the first surface measured in conformity with JIS B 0601: 2001 (with an assessment length set to 290 μm) may be 0.6 μm or less. A peak count RPc of the first surface measured in conformity with JIS B 0601: 2001 (with an assessment length set to 290 μm) may be 16 or more.
Claims9
An optical sheet, wherein at least a first surface of the optical sheet has unevenness,
- wherein a sparkle contrast of the first surface is 4% or less,
- wherein the sparkle contrast is measured in conformity with JIS C 1006:
- 2019,
- wherein the optical sheet is an overlying light diffusion sheet to be disposed on a light emitting surface of a prism sheet in a backlight unit,
- wherein the overlying light diffusion sheet is an independent sheet separated from the prism sheet, and the overlying light diffusion sheet and the prism sheet are not physically joined together,
- wherein the prism sheet includes a ridge-like prism part on the light emitting surface,
- wherein the overlying light diffusion sheet is disposed to face the light emitting surface of the prism sheet on which the ridge-like prism part is provided,
- wherein the overlying light diffusion sheet comprises a base layer and a light diffusion layer provided on the base layer and having the first surface,
- wherein the unevenness is formed by dispersing resin beads in a resin matrix, which constitutes the light diffusion layer.
