Abstract
Embodiments included herein are directed towards sideband initialization (SBINIT) pattern detection. Embodiments include providing a self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuit configured to receive a first SBINIT pattern and a second SBINIT pattern. Embodiments further include providing resetting pattern detection circuit operatively connected with the self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection logic, wherein a reset pulse is configured to shift match/mismatch information of a current pattern to a previous pattern.
Claims17
A method for sideband initialization (SBINIT) pattern detection comprising:
- providing a self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuit configured to receive a first SBINIT pattern and a second SBINIT pattern, wherein the self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuit includes a programmable register;
- providing resetting pattern detection circuit operatively connected with the self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuit, wherein a reset pulse is configured to shift match/mismatch information of a current pattern to a previous pattern;
- and
- receiving an input from the programmable register at an XOR gate.
A system for sideband initialization (SBINIT) pattern detection comprising:
- a self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuitry configured to receive a first SBINIT pattern and a second SBINIT pattern, wherein the self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuit includes a 64-bit programmable register;
- a resetting pattern detection circuit operatively connected with the self-correcting SBINIT pattern detection circuit, wherein a reset pulse is configured to shift match/mismatch information of a current pattern to a previous pattern;
- and
- an XOR gate configured to receive an input from the 64-bit programmable register.
