Abstract
A vehicle lamp includes a light guide plate including a plurality of light-exiting portions and a low-luminance portion, which is located between adjacent light-exiting portions and outputs light having luminance lower than luminance of light exiting from the light-exiting portion; a plurality of light sources each emit light having a light emission peak wavelength in a range from 420 nm to 550 nm to enter the light guide plate; and a wavelength conversion member that is disposed on the plurality of light-exiting portions and emits light having a light emission peak wavelength in a range from 540 nm to 700 nm by converting a wavelength of the light exiting from the light-exiting portion.
Claims20
A vehicle lamp, comprising:
- a light guide plate comprising:
- a plurality of light-exiting portions, and
- a low-luminance portion that is located between adjacent light-exiting portions of the plurality of light-exiting portions, and is configured to output light having luminance lower than luminance of light exiting from the light-exiting portions;
- a plurality of light sources individually configured to emit light having a light emission peak wavelength in a range from 420 nm to 550 nm to enter the light guide plate;
- and
- at least one wavelength conversion member disposed above the plurality of light-exiting portions and configured to emit light having a light emission peak wavelength in a range from 540 nm to 700 nm by converting a wavelength of the light exiting from the plurality of light-exiting portions,
- wherein the light-exiting portions are formed protrusions and recessions in the light guide plate on the light-exiting portion side, and on an opposite side of the light-exiting portions, the low-luminance portion are not formed the protrusions and recessions and
- wherein the wavelength conversion member contains at least one kind of phosphor and the wavelength conversion member covers a light extraction side of the plurality of light-exiting portions.
