Hydrogen transport, distribution and storage system, method and apparatus

A method of delivering a product, the method comprising:

• providing a first pipe;
• locating a product delivery line, configured to carry the product, in the first pipe and forming a channel between an exterior of the product delivery line and an interior of the first pipe;
• locating a data system comprising at least one in-line hydrogen sensor within the channel to monitor for a presence and amount of a product in the channel at each hydrogen sensor;
• and
• configuring the channel such that the channel can be purged.

A method of delivering a product via a delivery assembly, the delivery assembly comprising:

• a first pipe;
• a product delivery line, configured to carry the product, disposed in the first pipe such that a channel is formed between an exterior of the product delivery line and an interior of the first pipe;
• a data system comprising at least one in-line hydrogen sensor within the channel to monitor for a presence and amount of a product in the channel at each hydrogen sensor;
• and
• wherein the assembly is also configured to purge the channel, the method comprising:
• injecting product into the product delivery line;
• and
• removing, via the channel, any product that leaks into the channel.
