Abstract
A drive train mounting assembly for an industrial transmission, in particular for a rotor with double mounting or momentum mounting of a wind power installation, includes a first housing, a shaft of a drive train, a mounting supported in the first housing and supporting the shaft, a second housing, a transmission component surrounded by the second housing and coupled to the shaft, and a torque support designed to counteract a gravity-induced torque which acts on the shaft by the transmission component. The torque support is fastened to the first housing and includes an adjustable unit.
Claims15
A wind power installation, comprising:
- a first housing encompassing a drive train mounting assembly and a shaft of the drive train supported in a mounting and defining an axial direction;
- a second housing separate from the first housing and encompassing a transmission component having a planetary gear stage that is coupled to the shaft,
- an actively adjustable torque support fastened to the first housing and comprising a plurality of actively adjustable units configured to provide force pairs of mutually opposing forces acting at least in the axial direction;
- wherein a first end of the second housing is connected via the actively adjustable units to the first housing and a second free end of the second housing is constructed as a cantilever supporting a generator and requiring no additional support;
- and
- a sensor selected from at least one of a force sensor, a path sensor, and an acceleration sensor installed in the drive train, with the actively adjustable units controlling the actively adjustable torque support in response to signals received from the sensor;
- wherein
- the force pairs of opposing forces counteract a gravity-induced tilting torque exerted on the shaft by the transmission component.
A method for compensating a gravity-induced tilting torque exerted by a transmission component on a shaft of a drive train-defining an axial direction of a wind power installation, the method comprising:
- supporting the shaft of the drive train via a mounting in a first housing;
- fastening to the first housing an actively adjustable torque support comprising a plurality of actively adjustable units designed to provide force pairs of mutually opposing forces acting at least in the axial direction in response to signals received from a sensor;
- surrounding the transmission component having a planetary gear stage by a second housing separate from the first housing and coupling the transmission component with the planetary gear stage to the shaft;
- supporting a generator on the second housing;
- wherein
- the actively adjustable torque support counteracts the gravity-induced tilting torque.
