Abstract
A circulation system is provided, the circulation system comprising a heating device having an inlet port and an outlet port for controlling the temperature of water. The device further comprises a pipe system having a plurality of strings which include one or more sections of a given thermal coupling to the surroundings and are connected by means of nodes, one or more of the pipes of the pipe system being designed as a supply pipe, at least one individual delivery pipe connected to a removal point, and at least one pipe designed as a circulation pipe being connected to the supply pipe(s).
Claims11
A circulation system comprising:
- a temperature controlling device for cooling and/or heating water, the temperature controlling device comprising:
- an input port,
- an output port, and
- wherein the temperature controlling device is configured to receive water at a temperature (Tb) at the input port and and to produce water at a set temperature value (Ta) at the output port;
- a branched pipeline system in fluid communication with the input port and output port of the temperature controlling device, the branched pipeline system comprising:
- pipe units, comprising at least one single supply line connected to a tapping point, at least one circulation conduit, and at least one flow pipe, wherein the at least one flow pipe comprises at least one of a collective feed line, a riser line, and a building floor line,
- more than one node, wherein each of the pipe units are connected together through one of the nodes,
- one or more partial sections thermally coupled to a surrounding, the partial sections comprising one or more pipes units, wherein each partial section further comprises an initial region and end region and wherein each partial section is connected to at least one node proximate at least one of the initial region and the end region;
- and
- wherein, for a given apportionment of a volume of water flow emerging from any specified node into one of the pipe units, a mixed water temperature is determinable based on the water flow from the one or more pipe units entering the specified node;
- a circulation pump in fluid communication with at least one of the pipe units of the branched pipeline system, wherein the circulation pump is configured to provide a particular volumetric rate of water flow (Vz) at the input port of the temperature controlling device and provide water flow through the at least one circulation conduit when water is not being removed through a tapping point;
- and
- a regulator, wherein the regulator receives values for the temperature of water at the input port (Tb) from the temperature controlling device and the specified flow rate of water (Vz) from the circulation pump;
- wherein the regulator determines a target temperature (Tsoll) for the temperature of water at the input port and a positive present value (θ) for the target temperature (Tsoll) minus the identified temperature of water at the input port (Tb);
- wherein the regulator calculates a temperature of water proximate an end region of each of the one or more partial sections (TME) based on an identified temperature of water at the input port (Tb) and flow rate of water (Vz) and then identifies selection values for the set temperature value at the output port (Ta) and flow rate of water (Vz) such that the water temperature proximate the end region of the one or more partial sections (TME) and the water temperature at the input port of the temperature controlling device (Tb) is less than a target temperature (Tsoll) and any difference between Tsoll and Tb is less than a positive given value (θ)
- or
- the water temperature at the input port of the temperature controlling device (Tb) is higher than a target temperature (Tsoll) and any difference between Tsoll and Tb is less than a positive given value (θ).
A circulation system comprising:
- a temperature control device comprising an input port and an output port;
- a pipe system in fluid communication with the input port and output port of the temperature control device, the pipe system having a plurality of lines having one or more partial sections provided with a heat coupling to a surrounding environment, whereby the partial sections are coupled by means of nodes;
- and wherein a mixed water temperature of volume flows running out of the nodes can be determined as a function of volume flows running into the nodes with a predetermined distribution of volume flows running out of the nodes;
- and wherein one or more pipes of the pipe system are configured as a feed pipe with at least one individual supply pipe connected to a tapping point and at least one pipe configured as a circulation pipe and connected to the feed pipe;
- wherein the temperature control device sets the water temperature at the output port to a value (Ta);
- a circulation pump for setting a stationary volume flow of circulating water at the input port to a value (Vz);
- a regulator performing the steps of:
- determining a temperature change of the water between the initial region and end region of each part section under the condition that the water temperature in the end region of a given part section is selected to be equal to the water temperature in the initial region of the part section connected to the given part section in the flow direction of the circulating water;
- selecting the value Ta of the water temperature and the value Vz of the volume flow at the output port, such that the water temperature (TME) in the end region of each part section is within a predetermined range around a target temperature (Tsoll), in particular the water temperature at the input port of the temperature control device (Tb) is less than Tsoll with Tsoll−Tb<θ is set at the input port, wherein θ>0 is a predetermined value;
- and
- the temperature control device is connected with its input port to the circulation pipe and via a pipe to a water supply;
- or
- a heat exchanger for cooling water is connected via a pipe with an input port to a water supply, wherein the circulation pipe is connected downstream of an output port of the heat exchanger.
