Abstract
A process includes contacting one or more bio feedstocks and one or more waste plastic feedstocks with a deactivated cracking catalyst comprising a phosphorus-containing ZSM-5 catalyst at catalytic cracking conditions to obtain a product stream containing hydrocarbons, and separating at least one hydrocarbon fraction from the product stream, wherein the deactivated cracking catalyst contains at least one metal contaminant.
Claims20
A process, comprising:
- generating a deactivated cracking catalyst comprising a phosphorus-containing ZSM-5 catalyst having deactivating deposits accumulated thereon discharged from a fluid catalytic cracking process, the deactivating deposits comprising about 0.1 wt. % to about 5.0 wt. %, based on a total weight of the deactivating cracking catalyst, of coke, the deactivated cracking catalyst further comprising at least one metal contaminant;
- contacting one or more bio feedstocks and one or more waste plastic feedstocks with the deactivated cracking catalyst at catalytic cracking conditions to obtain a product stream comprising hydrocarbons;
- and
- separating at least one hydrocarbon fraction from the product stream.
