Abstract
The present disclosure provides a coating-attached glass article having improved easy-to-clean properties. The provided coating-attached glass article includes a glass substrate and an easy-to-clean coating on the glass substrate. The coating includes cerium oxide, and a contact angle of water on a surface of the coating is 60° or more and 130° or less. The coating improves, for example, the ease of removal of dirt resulting from a water drop adhered to the surface. The glass substrate may be formed of a reinforced glass.

A coating-attached glass article comprising:
- a glass substrate;
- and
- an easy-to-clean coating on the glass substrate, wherein
- the coating includes cerium oxide,
- the coating is substantially free of a component other than the cerium oxide,
- the coating has a porosity of 0%,
- a contact angle of water on a surface of the coating is 70° or more and 130° or less, and
- the coating-attached glass article is at least one selected from the group consisting of roof glass, glass for bathrooms, mirrors, display windows, counters, tables, glass doors of refrigerated cases and freezer cases, showcases of foods, glass for mobile devices, and glass for solar cells.

A coating-attached glass article comprising:
- a glass substrate;
- and
- an easy-to-clean coating on the glass substrate, wherein
- the coating includes cerium oxide,
- the coating is a single-layer film or a multi-layer film that includes the cerium oxide as a topmost layer of the multi-layer film,
- the coating has a porosity of 30% or more, and
- a contact angle of water on a surface of the coating is 60° or more and 95° or less.
