The chisel includes a head formed of a second material that is harder than the first material and including a first end coupled to the second end of the body and defining a recess that receives the protrusion, a second end that is opposite the first end of the head, a cylindrical portion that defines the first end of the head, and a conular portion that extends from the cylindrical portion and toward the second end of the head.
Claims14
A chisel comprising:
- a body formed of a first material, the body including
- a first end having a shank,
- a second end having a surface and a protrusion extending from the surface, and
- a longitudinal axis extending through the first end and the second end;
- and
- a head formed of a second material that is harder than the first material, the head including
- a first end coupled to the second end of the body, the first end including a surface and a recess defined therein, the surface of the first end of the head abutting the surface of the second end of the body while the recess receives the protrusion,
- a second end that is opposite the first end of the head,
- a cylindrical portion that defines the first end of the head, and
- a conular portion that extends from the cylindrical portion and toward the second end of the head.
