Network for controlling soldering systems and method therefor

A network having a plurality of soldering systems provided in the network, wherein each soldering system comprises:

• a. at least one soldering apparatus for soldering electronic components,
• b. a user interface for outputting target-soldering-information to a user, and
• c. means for determining actual-soldering-information,
• wherein the network comprises:
• d. at least one input device for inputting and/or specifying work information, and
• e. a control unit which is designed to:
• i. identify soldering systems provided in the network;
• ii. process work information coming from the at least one input device, the work information being independent of the soldering systems provided in the network,
• iii. create soldering tasks with target-soldering-information from the work information depending on the identified soldering systems;
• iv. recognize which soldering system is suitable for which soldering task;
• v. assign each of said soldering tasks to a suitable soldering system;
• and
• vi. process the actual-soldering-information of the suitable soldering system to which the respective soldering task is assigned with the associated target-soldering-information of that suitable soldering system.
