Abstract
Methods and apparatus provide for: generating image data for an application to be displayed on an output device; recording the image data generated by the image generating unit; and receiving operation information from an input device, where the recording includes storing the image data for an application for a predetermined period of time up to the point in time at which operation information is received during the receiving operation information from a specific input unit provided in the input device while displaying an application image.
Claims20
An information processing system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more storage devices storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving first operation information corresponding to a first user input at a controller communicatively coupled to the information processing system;
- generating, responsive to receiving the first operation information, first image data corresponding to a menu including a plurality of options to control an operation to capture at least a portion of second image data corresponding to an application executed by the information processing system;
- receiving second operation information corresponding to a second user input at the controller selecting one of the plurality of options included in the menu;
- and
- executing, responsive to receiving the second operation information, an operation corresponding to the selected one of the plurality of options included in the menu.
A method performed by an information processing system, the method comprising:
- receiving a first user input from a controller communicatively coupled to the information processing system;
- generating, responsive to receiving the first user input, menu image data including a plurality of options to control an operation to capture at least a portion of game image data corresponding to a game application executed by the information processing system;
- receiving a second user input at the controller selecting one of the plurality of options included in the menu;
- and
- executing, responsive to receiving the second user input, an operation corresponding to the selected one of the plurality of options included in the menu.
One or more non-transitory computer readable media including computer-program instructions, which when executed by an information processing system, cause the information processing system to:
- receive a first user input from a controller communicatively coupled to the information processing system;
- generate, responsive to receiving the first user input, menu image data including a plurality of options to control an operation to capture at least a portion of game image data corresponding to a game application executed by the information processing system;
- receive a second user input at the controller selecting one of the plurality of options included in the menu;
- and
- execute, responsive to receiving the second user input, an operation corresponding to the selected one of the plurality of options included in the menu.
