Microneedle device and method for producing same

A method for producing a microneedle device comprising a substrate, microneedles disposed on the substrate, and a coating formed on the microneedles, the method comprising:

• coating the microneedles with a coating liquid to form the coating on the microneedles,
• wherein the coating liquid comprises:
• dexmedetomidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a concentration of 40 mass % to 60 mass %,
• isoproterenol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a concentration of 0.2 mass % to 1.5 mass %,
• ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a concentration of 0.02 mass % to 1.5 mass %, and
• a sulfated polysaccharide in a concentration of 0.5 mass % to 16 mass %;
• wherein the sulfated polysaccharide is chondroitin sulfate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
• and
• wherein a mass ratio of the ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to the isoproterenol or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in the coating liquid is 0.013 or more.
