Self-deploying tree system

An artificial tree comprising:

• a main tree section comprising:
• a trunk having an interior and an exterior, the trunk including:
• an outer tubing having a first end and a second end;
• and
• an extension tubing having a first end and a second end, and at least the second end is disposed within the outer tubing, the extension tubing configured to move with respect to an outer tubing such that the main tree section can move between
• a collapsed configuration and a fully deployed configuration;
• a plurality of limb supports slidably disposed along the exterior of the trunk such that each of the plurality of limb supports can slide relative to the exterior of the trunk between respective first and second limb support positions;
• and
• a top anchor securely affixed proximate the first end of the extension tubing;
• and
• a flexible tether system attached to the top anchor, each limb support of the plurality of limb supports attached to the flexible tether system,
• wherein, when the main tree section is in the fully deployed configuration, the flexible tether system is pulled taut and each limb support of the plurality of limb supports is in the first limb support position.
