Abstract
The present invention relates pesticidal complexes, pesticidal delivery systems and compositions, as well as processes of preparation and uses thereof. The present invention also relates to the use of cyclodextrins for increasing biological activity and improving uptake, penetration, retention and/or bioavailability of agrochemicals such as pesticides.
Claims20
An agrochemically active pesticidal complex in dry powder form, wherein the pesticidal complex comprises at least one pesticide and cyclodextrin, wherein the pesticide is selected from the group consisting of dithiocarbamate fungicide, oxadiazine insecticide, semicarbazone insecticide, and dinitroaniline herbicide, wherein the pesticidal complex is free of adjuvants, and wherein the pesticide is in solid form and interacts with the cyclodextrin in the absence of an organic solvent.
A pesticidal delivery system comprising (i) an amount of at least one pesticide selected from the group consisting of dithiocarbamate fungicide, oxadiazine insecticide, semicarbazone insecticide, dinitroaniline herbicide and any combination thereof, and (ii) at least one cyclodextrin, wherein 20%-90% of the pesticide interacts with the cyclodextrin, and 10%-80% of the pesticide is not reacted with the cyclodextrin, and the pesticidal delivery system is free of surfactants, organic solvent, suspending agents or other adjuvants, selected from ionic, or non-ionic surfactant, wetting agents, spreading agents and penetrants, and wherein the pesticide in form of a solid substance interact with cyclodextrin in the absence of an organic solvent.
