Abstract
An information processing apparatus obtains information on functions executable on a display target screen. Then, the information processing apparatus hides a first area for a first function that is restricted among the functions in a layout region where to place areas for the respective functions on the screen and displays a second area for a second function that is not restricted in the layout region while changing a size of the second area.

An information processing apparatus comprising:
- one or more memories storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors executing the instructions to:
- display a first area for a first function and a second area for a second function in a predetermined size in a case where the first function and the second function are not restricted in a layout region where to place respective areas for a plurality of functions on a screen, and hide the first area and display the second area for the second function in a size larger than the predetermined size in a case where the first function is restricted and the second function is not restricted, wherein
- the first function which is restricted is disabled from being executed in the information processing apparatus.

- in a case of a first mode in which no function is restricted, display a first screen on which a first area for a first function and a second area for a second function are placed in a predetermined size in a layout region of a display screen;

- in a case of a second mode in which the first function is restricted and the second function is not restricted, display a second screen on which the first area is hidden and the second area is placed in a size larger than the predetermined size in the layout region of the display screen, wherein
- the first function which is restricted is disabled from being executed in the information processing apparatus.
