Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving channel state information in wireless communication system

A terminal comprising:

• at least one transceiver for transmitting and receiving a wireless signal;
• and
• at least one processor for controlling the at least one transceiver,
• wherein the at least one processor configured to:
• receive configuration information related to a channel state information (CSI) report from a base station;
• receive a CSI-RS (CSI-reference signal) from the base station;
• and
• transmit, to the base station, a CSI report based on the configuration information and the CSI-RS,
• wherein the configuration information includes information for M vectors available for determining a precoding matrix, wherein M is an integer greater than 0,
• wherein the M vectors are selected from N vector candidates based on a delay value estimated, by the base station, from an uplink transmission of the terminal, wherein Nis an integer greater than 0 and greater than or equal to M,
• wherein the N is determined based on a size of a bandwidth configured for the CSI report and an oversampling coefficient,
• wherein the CSI report includes a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) indicating the precoding matrix determined based on the M vectors,
• wherein the CSI report includes a first CSI report for a first cell and a second CSI report for a second cell, and
• wherein a report value for wideband is reported only in either one of the first CSI report or the second CSI report, and a report value for a subband is reported in both the first CSI report and the second CSI report.

A base station comprising:

• at least one transceiver for transmitting and receiving a wireless signal;
• and
• at least one processor for controlling the at least one transceiver,
• wherein the at least one processor configured to:
• transmit configuration information related to a channel state information (CSI) report to a terminal;
• transmit a CSI-RS (CSI-reference signal) from to the terminal;
• and
• receive, from the terminal, a CSI report based on the configuration information and the CSI-RS,
• wherein the configuration information includes information for M vectors available for determining a precoding matrix, wherein M is an integer greater than 0,
• wherein the M vectors are selected from N vector candidates based on a delay value estimated, by the base station, from an uplink transmission of the terminal, wherein N is an integer greater than 0 and greater than or equal to M,
• wherein the N is determined based on a size of a bandwidth configured for the CSI report and an oversampling coefficient,
• wherein the CSI report includes a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) indicating the precoding matrix determined based on the M vectors,
• wherein the CSI report includes a first CSI report for a first cell and a second CSI report for a second cell, and
• wherein a report value for wideband is reported only in either one of the first CSI report or the second CSI report, and a report value for a subband is reported in both the first CSI report and the second CSI report.
