EMC hardware filter for a fleet management apparatus

A fleet management system, comprising:

• a refrigeration unit including a plurality of sensors;
• a fleet management module configured to control setting of the refrigeration unit;
• and
• an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filter disposed between the refrigeration unit and the fleet management module, wherein the EMC filter comprises:
• a first connection port configured to receive one or more input signals from the plurality of sensors and an input power signal;
• a first filter stage configured to filter the received input power signal;
• a second filter stage configured to filter one or more ground output signals of the EMC filter;
• a third filter stage that includes a plurality of ferrite beads and a plurality of capacitors, wherein the third filter stage is configured to filter the received one or more input signals to remove EMC noises from the received one or more input signals;
• and
• a second connection port configured to output the filtered one or more input signals and the filtered input power signal to the fleet management module, wherein the fleet management module is configured to control the setting of the refrigeration unit based on the filtered one or more input signals.
