Abstract
Provided is a power generation system including a photovoltaic unit arranged in a flight vehicle which provides a wireless communication service to a user terminal in a communication area formed over a ground, an electric storage unit which is connected to the photovoltaic unit and stores electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit, and a power conditioner which converts the electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit. The electric storage unit is connected, for example, in parallel to connection between the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner, and the electric power stored in the electric storage unit is supplied to the power conditioner.
Claims13
A power generation system comprising:
- a photovoltaic unit arranged in a flight vehicle which provides a wireless communication service to a user terminal in a communication area formed over a ground;
- an electric storage unit which is connected to the photovoltaic unit and stores electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- a power conditioner which converts the electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- and
- a switch control unit which switches a current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner or to be supplied to the electric storage unit;
- wherein
- an input and an output of the electric storage unit are connected to a connection line that connects the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner, such that the electric storage unit is connected in parallel to connection between the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner, and the electric power stored in the electric storage unit is supplied to the power conditioner;
- and
- the switch control unit switches the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner when a measurement result of a power generation amount by the photovoltaic unit is higher than a predetermined threshold or the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the electric storage unit when the measurement result is lower than the threshold.
A power generation system comprising:
- a photovoltaic unit arranged in a flight vehicle which provides a wireless communication service to a user terminal in a communication area formed over a ground;
- an electric storage unit which is connected to the photovoltaic unit and stores electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- a power conditioner which converts the electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- and
- a switch control unit which switches a current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner or to be supplied to the electric storage unit;
- wherein
- the electric storage unit is connected between the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner, such that the photovoltaic unit, the electric storage unit, and the power conditioner are connected in series, and the electric power stored in the electric storage unit is supplied to the power conditioner;
- and
- the switch control unit switches the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner when a measurement result of a power generation amount by the photovoltaic unit is higher than a predetermined threshold or the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the electric storage unit when the measurement result is lower than the threshold.
A power generation system comprising:
- a photovoltaic unit arranged in a flight vehicle which provides a wireless communication service to a user terminal in a communication area formed over a ground;
- an electric storage unit which is connected to the photovoltaic unit and stores electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- a power conditioner which converts the electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- and
- a switch control unit which switches a current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner or to be supplied to the electric storage unit;
- wherein
- one terminal of the electric storage unit is connected to a connection line that connects the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner and another terminal of the electric storage unit is connected to a system other than the power conditioner, and the electric power stored in the electric storage unit is supplied to the system other than the power conditioner;
- and
- the switch control unit switches the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner when a measurement result of a power generation amount by the photovoltaic unit is higher than a predetermined threshold or the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the electric storage unit when the measurement result is lower than the threshold.

- a power conditioner which converts the electric power generated by the photovoltaic unit;
- a switch control unit which switches a current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner or to be supplied to the electric storage unit;
- and
- an information acquisition unit which acquires flight related information in connection to a flight of the flight vehicle
- wherein
- an input and an output of the electric storage unit are connected to a connection line that connects the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner, such that the electric storage unit is connected in parallel to connection between the photovoltaic unit and the power conditioner, and the electric power stored in the electric storage unit is supplied to the power conditioner;
- and
- the switch control unit switches the current from the photovoltaic unit to be supplied to the power conditioner or to be supplied to the electric storage unit based on the flight related information.
