Abstract
A positive electrode active material includes nickel contained as a transition metal in a ratio of 70 mol % or more of the total transition metal; and polycrystalline particles and monocrystalline particles, in which a B/A value calculated from a lithium hydroxide content A (mass %) of the polycrystalline particles and a lithium hydroxide content B (mass %) of the monocrystalline particles is 1.03 to 1.9.

A positive electrode active material comprising:
- nickel contained as a transition metal in a ratio of 70 mol % or more of a total transition metal;
- and
- polycrystalline particles and monocrystalline particles, wherein a B/A value calculated from a lithium hydroxide content A mass % of the polycrystalline particles and a lithium hydroxide content B mass % of the monocrystalline particles is 1.03 to 1.9.
