Abstract
A program is configured to cause a computer to execute operations, the computer being configured to remove a background from a first image captured in a first space in which a first user is located to generate a second image to be displayed to a second user in a second space that is separate from the first space, the operations including scanning an object in the first space upon detecting a cue from the first user, and transmitting an image of the scanned object together with the second image via a network.
Claims11
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program configured to cause a computer to execute operations, the computer being configured to remove a background from a first image captured in a first space in which a first user is located to generate a second image to be displayed to a second user in a second space that is separate from the first space, the operations comprising:
- scanning an object in the first space upon detecting a first cue from the first user;
- transmitting an image of the scanned object together with the second image via a network such that the image of the scanned object and the second image are displayed together to the second user in the second space;
- identifying a part of the object on which the first user is focusing;
- transmitting, via the network, focus information indicating the identified part;
- and
- upon detecting a second cue from the first user, transmitting an object deletion request requesting suspension of displaying of the image of the scanned object, together with the second image via the network,
- wherein the second cue includes moving the object out of an angle of view of a camera by the first user.
A communication method comprising:
- scanning, by a terminal apparatus configured to remove a background from a first image captured in a first space in which a first user is located to generate a second image to be displayed to a second user in a second space that is separate from the first space, an object in the first space upon detecting a first cue from the first user;
- transmitting, from the terminal apparatus, an image of the scanned object together with the second image via a network such that the image of the scanned object and the second image are displayed together to the second user in the second space;
- identifying a part of the object on which the first user is focusing;
- transmitting, via the network, focus information indicating the identified part;
- and
- upon detecting a second cue from the first user, transmitting an object deletion request requesting suspension of displaying of the image of the scanned object, together with the second image via the network,
- wherein the second cue includes moving the object out of an angle of view of a camera by the first user.
