Auxiliary verification system of greenhouse gas inventory

An auxiliary verification system of greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, allowing a verified unit end to link to for receiving and verifying raw data in the GHG inventory that is provided by the verified unit end, is completed and comprises a verification report summarizing the raw data, the raw data including inventory items each including a plurality of data fields, the plurality of data fields including a first GHG emission value, a first global warming potential (GWP) and a first GHG emission factor, and the auxiliary verification system comprising:

• a verification database for pre-storing a plurality of pieces of validation data and predefined associations therebetween, and the plurality of pieces of validation data being organized in a data structure that is indexed based on the predefined associations and field names of the plurality of data fields;
• a computing module connected to the verification database and configured to establish a first search criteria based on the portion of the plurality of data fields of the inventory item through AI technology and then search for a second global warming potential (GWP) and a second GHG emission factor from the plurality of pieces of validation data according to the first search criteria, in order to calculate a second GHG emission value;
• and
• a verification module connected to the computing module and configured to:
• identify the first GWP, the first GHG emission factor and the other data fields in the inventory item;
• check whether the first GWP is the same as the second GWP;
• check whether the first GHG emission factor is the same as the second GHG emission factor;
• check whether the first GHG emission value of the inventory item meets the second GHG emission value;
• for each of the other data fields in the inventory item, establish a second search criteria based on at least two data fields of the plurality of data fields in the inventory item through the AI technology, and then search for other piece of validation data from the plurality of pieces of validation data according to the second search criteria, to check whether this other data field matches the searched other piece of validation data;
• and
• generate a verification result for the inventory item according to checking results of the plurality of data fields in the inventory item, thereby confirming correctness of the verification report.
