Abstract
A sliding member includes a sliding layer that contains a heat-resistant thermoplastic resin other than a fluororesin and graphite particles, in which the graphite particles are exposed on a sliding surface, and an average diameter of exposed portions of the graphite particles is 0.1 μm or more and 15 μm or less.
Claims20
A sliding member comprising:
- a sliding layer comprising a heat-resistant thermoplastic resin, other than a fluororesin, and graphite particles,
- wherein the heat-resistant thermoplastic resin includes at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyimide resin, a polyamide-imide resin, a polyether ether ketone resin, a polyphenylene sulfide resin, a polyether sulfone resin, a polysulfone resin, a polyphenylsulfone resin, a polyether imide resin, and a polyamide resin,
- wherein the graphite particles are exposed on a sliding surface, and
- an average diameter of exposed portions of the graphite particles is 0.1 μm or more and 15 μm or less.
