Abstract
The present invention provides an immunochromatographic test strip capable of avoiding so-called blank color development in an immunochromatographic test strip and enabling more accurate determination. The present invention provides an immunochromatographic test strip comprising at least a sample application region, a development region, and a detection region in which an antibody is immobilized, wherein the detection region includes the antibody and one or more saccharides selected from the group consisting of a reductive monosaccharide and a reductive disaccharide.
Claims13
An immunochromatographic test strip comprising:
- at least a sample application region, a development region, and a detection region in which an antibody is immobilized,
- wherein the detection region includes the antibody and a saccharide selected from the group consisting of a reductive monosaccharide and a reductive disaccharide,
- wherein the reductive monosaccharide is glucose or fructose,
- wherein the reductive disaccharide is maltose, and
- wherein a holding amount of the saccharide immobilized on the detection region is 0.025 mg/cm to 0.05 mg/cm.
An immunochromatographic detection method comprising:
- using a following test strip:
- an immunochromatographic test strip comprising at least a sample application region, a development region, and a detection region in which an antibody is immobilized,
- wherein the detection region includes the antibody and a saccharide selected from the group consisting of a reductive monosaccharide and a reductive disaccharide,
- wherein the reductive monosaccharide is glucose or fructose,
- wherein the reductive disaccharide is maltose, and
- wherein a holding amount of the saccharide immobilized on the detection region is 0.025 mg/cm to 0.05 mg/cm.
A method for producing an immunochromatographic test strip comprising at least a sample application region, a development region, and a detection region comprising at least steps of:
- (a) disposing an antibody application liquid including an anti-analyte antibody, a saccharide selected from the group consisting of a reductive monosaccharide and a reductive disaccharide, and a buffer solution to a portion of a porous membrane to constitute said detection region,
- wherein the reductive monosaccharide is glucose or fructose,
- wherein the reductive disaccharide is maltose,
- wherein the concentration of the saccharide in the antibody application liquid is 2.5 to 5.0%;
- and
- (b) drying the porous membrane to immobilize said anti-analyte antibody in said detection region,
- wherein a pH of the antibody application liquid is 7.0 to 8.0.
An immunochromatographic detection method for detecting an analyte in a sample, said method comprising:
- applying a sample to a sample application region in an immunochromatographic test strip comprising at least said sample application region, a development region, and a detection region in which an antibody is immobilized,
- wherein the detection region includes the antibody and a saccharide selected from the group consisting of a reductive monosaccharide and a reductive disaccharide,
- wherein the reductive monosaccharide is glucose or fructose,
- wherein the reductive disaccharide is maltose, and
- wherein a holding amount of the saccharide immobilized on the detection region is 0.025 mg/cm to 0.05 mg/cm;
- and
- detecting said analyte in said detection region.
