Motion interrupting water-saving faucet valve

A motion interrupting water saving faucet valve comprising:

• a hollow valve body having a top with an aperture and a bottom with a water outlet;
• a screw-in interrupting mechanism installed within an interior of the valve body at some distance above the water outlet;
• an actuator mechanism within the valve body interior, having a proximal end that extends out of the aperture and a distal end that seals the water outlet;
• an asymmetrical speedbump installed onto a surface of the actuator mechanism;
• and
• a linkage that connects the proximal end of the actuator mechanism to a faucet handle, such that the faucet handle controls the movement of the actuator mechanism in an opening direction and a closing direction,
• wherein the asymmetrical speedbump is placed to engage the screw-in interrupting mechanism, providing a first tactile feedback with a first biasing force in the opening direction, and a second tactile feedback with a second biasing force in the closing direction;
• wherein said first biasing force is greater than said second biasing force.
