Abstract
A work machine having a load calculation function has a first mode and a second mode. The accuracy of the load calculation function in the first mode is different from the accuracy of the load calculation function in the second mode.
Claims18
A work machine having a load calculation function, the work machine comprising:
- a controller,
- wherein the controller realizes a first mode and a second mode in the load calculation function,
- the controller is configured to switch between the first mode and the second mode by changing a weight calculation condition in a calculation executed by the controller, and
- accuracy of the load calculation function in the first mode is different from accuracy of the load calculation function in the second mode,
- wherein, in the first mode, when the work machine satisfies at least one predetermined operational condition, a weight of a load attracted by a lifting magnet is calculated,
- wherein the predetermined operational condition includes at least one of:
- a condition relating to a position of the lifting magnet, a condition relating to a posture of the lifting magnet, a condition relating to a movement speed of a component of the work machine, or a condition relating to a non-operating state of the component of the work machine, and
- wherein the predetermined operational condition required for the first mode includes a condition that the lifting magnet passes through a region at a predetermined height to separate from surrounding objects, and wherein a weight calculation condition in the second mode is more lenient than a weight calculation condition in the first mode by at least relaxing the condition that the lifting magnet passes through a region at a predetermined height.

A load calculation system, comprising:
- a work machine having a load calculation function, the work machine including a controller,
- wherein the controller realizes a first mode and a second mode in the load calculation function,
- the controller is configured to switch between the first mode and the second mode by changing a weight calculation condition in a calculation executed by the controller, and
- accuracy of a load calculation function in the first mode is different from accuracy of a load calculation function in the second mode,
- wherein, in the first mode, when the work machine satisfies at least one predetermined operational condition, a weight of a load attracted by a lifting magnet is calculated,
- wherein the predetermined operational condition includes at least one of:
- a condition relating to a position of the lifting magnet, a condition relating to a posture of the lifting magnet, a condition relating to a movement speed of a component of the work machine, or a condition relating to a non-operating state of the component of the work machine, and
- wherein the predetermined operational condition required for the first mode includes a condition that the lifting magnet passes through a region at a predetermined height to separate from surrounding objects, and wherein a weight calculation condition in the second mode is more lenient than a weight calculation condition in the first mode by at least relaxing the condition that the lifting magnet passes through a region at a predetermined height.
