Abstract
An object to be achieved by the present invention is to prepare a droplet using a protein that has not been known heretofore to form a droplet. The present invention provides a droplet including an assembly of a protein, wherein the protein is a PDI family protein and/or an artificial protein, and contains a thioredoxin-like domain.
Claims6
A droplet comprising an assembly of a protein in the presence of a calcium ion, wherein the protein is a PDI family protein, and contains a thioredoxin-like domain, and
- wherein the protein has a calcium-binding region,
- wherein the protein is P5,
- wherein the droplet is only formed in vitro.
A method of producing a droplet comprising a step of assembling a protein in the presence of a calcium ion,
- the protein being a PDI family protein, and containing a thioredoxin-like domain, the protein further having a calcium-binding region,
- wherein the protein is P5.
