Printed material and method for producing printed material

A printed material comprising:

• a recording medium having a pressure-bonding surface including an image portion and a pressure phase transition layer, the recording medium being folded upon itself and pressure-bonded;
• or
• a recording medium having a pressure-bonding surface including an image portion and a pressure phase transition layer and an additional recording medium, the recording medium and the additional recording medium being stacked and pressure-bonded together,
• wherein, before the recording medium is folded upon itself and pressure-bonded or before the recording medium and the additional recording medium are stacked and pressure-bonded together, an average thickness of the pressure phase transition layer on the image portion of the pressure-bonding surface of the recording medium is larger than an average thickness of the pressure phase transition layer on a non-image portion of the pressure-bonding surface of the recording medium,
• wherein the printed material comprises a portion where a thickness of the pressure phase transition layer on the image portion is greater than a thickness of the pressure phase transition layer in another portion of the printed material, and
• wherein a thickness of the image portion in the portion of the printed material is greater than a thickness of the image portion in the another portion of the printed material.
