Sensorized exoskeleton system

A sensorized exoskeleton system for enhancing physical performances and/or for providing assistance with limb movement in regard to load-involved tasks, the system comprising:

• at least one sensorized wearable unit comprising a plurality of strain sensors configured to fit a user's forearm and to allow rotation, flexion, extension, pronation and supination of the user's arm;
• an actuation unit comprising a plurality of electrical, electronic and mechanical elements;
• a plurality of mechanical elements fixed to the ceiling or other fixed structure allowing the actuation unit to move horizontally on two rails and to rotate through 360°;
• a structure that mechanically and electrically connects the sensorized wearable unit to the actuation unit and moves along a vertical axis;
• a plurality of sensorized rotative components and position sensors installed throughout the at least one sensorized wearable unit, the structure and the actuation unit;
• at least one electronic microcontroller that processes the signals sent by the position sensors, the sensorized rotative components, and the strain sensors.
