Nebulizer

A nebulizer for nebulizing a liquid, comprising:

• a replaceable container containing multiple doses of the liquid,
• a fluid pump for withdrawing a dose from the multiple doses of the liquid from the container and pressurizing the respective dose for nebulization,
• an air pump for pressurizing the liquid in the container to help withdrawing the liquid in doses from the container, wherein the air pump comprises a pump piston, and
• a housing part which is detachable from the nebulizer or operable for inserting or replacing the container,
• an indicator device for counting and/or indicating a number of uses performed or still possible with the container,
• wherein the indicator device comprises an indicator element and an actuator for actuating and indexing the indicator element,
• wherein the actuator is adapted to rotate the indicator element relative to the container and/or the housing part stepwise and/or by a counting step in order to count each of the number of uses performed with the container,
• wherein the indicator device is integrated into the air pump in such a way that a movement of the pump piston is used for the actuation of the indicator device, and
• wherein the actuator comprises a first actuating element and a second actuating element, wherein the first actuating element is adapted to rotate the indicator element via a first gear ring, when the container is in a first end position by half the counting step, and the second actuating element is adapted to rotate the indicator element via a second gear ring, when the container is in a second end position, by another half of the counting step.

A nebulizer for nebulizing a liquid, comprising:

• a container containing multiple doses of the liquid,
• a housing part for receiving the container, wherein the container is moveable in an axial stroke within the housing part for withdrawing a dose from the multiple doses of the liquid from the container and pressurizing the respective dose for nebulization, and
• an indicator device for counting or indicating a number of uses performed or still possible with the container, wherein the indicator device comprises an indicator element and an actuator for actuating and/or stepwise moving the indicator element directly,
• wherein the indicator element is rotatably and inseparably connected to the container or a casing thereof and configured to move axially together with the container, and the actuator is rigidly connected to the housing part,
• wherein the actuator comprises two actuating elements,
• wherein the indicator element comprises two gear rings, and
• wherein the first actuating element is adapted to rotate the indicator element via a first gear ring, when the container is in a first axial end position by half a counting step, and the second actuating element is adapted to rotate the indicator element via a second gear ring, when the container is in a second axial end position, by another half of the counting step.
