Medical article with backing

An article, comprising:

• a conformable backing, comprising:
• a first major surface;
• a second major surface opposed to the first major surface;
• and
• a thermoplastic polymer selected from the group consisting of polyurethanes, polyesters, and combinations thereof,
• wherein the conformable backing has a tensile strength of no greater than 50 grams force per centimeter at 25% elongation in a machine direction according to the Tensile and Elongation Test Method;
• and
• a hydrophobic adhesive disposed on a portion of the first major surface of the conformable backing, wherein the hydrophobic adhesive is a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising:
• 75 wt. % to 85 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic copolymer;
• 1 wt. % to 3 wt. % of a cationic bioactive agent;
• 8 wt. % to 11 wt. % of a hydrophobic solubilizer capable of solubilizing at least part of the bioactive agent;
• and
• 8 wt. % to 11 wt. % of a hydrophobic plasticizing agent having a weight average molecular weight of above 1500,
• wherein the article is configured to reduce drape lift.
