Abstract
The present disclosure provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising a therapeutically effective amount of psilocybin and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Methods of making such compositions and use thereof in treating depressive disorders are also disclosed.
Claims22
A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- a therapeutically effective amount of psilocybin;
- and
- about 85% to about 99%, by weight, partially pregelatinized starch, wherein the potency of the psilocybin in the composition decreases by less than 5%.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- about 1% to about 10%, by weight, psilocybin;
- about 85% to about 99%, by weight, partially pregelatinized starch;
- and
- about 0.5% to about 2.0%, by weight, sodium stearyl fumarate, wherein the potency of the psilocybin in the composition decreases by less than 5%.
