Claims12
A compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 below, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- In Chemical Formula 1,
- R1 is C1-6 alkyl;
- hydroxy;
- halogen;
- C1-6 alkynyloxy;
- or unsubstituted or substituted C1-6 alkoxy;
- wherein the substituted C1-6 alkoxy contains C1-6 aryl or 5- to 14-membered heteroaryl as a substituent,
- wherein the heteroaryl contains one or more O, N, or S, and
- R2 is hydrogen or alkyl.
A pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer associated with signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 (STAT 3) activity, comprising a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 below, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as an active ingredient:
- In Chemical Formula 1,
- R1 is C1-6 alkyl;
- hydroxy;
- halogen;
- C1-6 alkynyloxy;
- or unsubstituted or substituted C1-6 alkoxy;
- wherein the substituted C1-6 alkoxy contains C1-6 aryl or 5- to 14-membered heteroaryl as a substituent,
- wherein the heteroaryl contains one or more O, N, or S, and
- R2 is hydrogen or alkyl.
A method for treating cancer associated with signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 (STAT3) activity, comprising administering a pharmaceutical composition containing a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 below, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as an active ingredient, into a subject:
- In Chemical Formula 1,
- R1 is C1-6 alkyl;
- hydroxy;
- halogen;
- C1-6 alkynyloxy;
- or unsubstituted or substituted C1-6 alkoxy;
- wherein the substituted C1-6 alkoxy contains C1-6 aryl or 5- to 14-membered heteroaryl as a substituent,
- wherein the heteroaryl contains one or more O, N, or S, and
- R2 is hydrogen or alkyl.
