Compositions and methods for stimulating intrinsic hyaluronic acid production are provided herein. Compositions and methods for stimulating intrinsic hyaluronic acid production can improve skin moisture and elasticity.
Claims20
An octapeptide consisting of the sequence GPHGVREA (SEQ ID NO:5).
A composition, comprising:
- an octapeptide consisting of the sequence GPHGVREA (SEQ ID NO:5);
- and
- a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A method for promoting cellular production of hyaluronic acid (HA) in skin comprising human fibroblasts, the method comprising:
- administering to the skin an effective amount of an octapeptide consisting of the sequence GPHGVREA (SEQ ID NO:5).
