Abstract
A method of guiding a transportation vulnerable person includes, in response to a vehicle entering a destination, monitoring surroundings of the destination, determining a drop-off point at the destination based on information from the monitoring, and controlling a guide handle to move to an outside of the vehicle when the transportation vulnerable person alights at the determined drop-off point.
Claims9
A method of guiding a transportation vulnerable person, the method comprising:
- in response to a vehicle entering a destination, monitoring surroundings of the destination using a sensor system of the vehicle;
- determining a drop-off point at the destination based on sensor information from the monitoring;
- and
- controlling movement of a guide handle of the vehicle to move to an outside of the vehicle by controlling a position and a direction of the guide handle to move an end of the guide handle to the determined drop-off point, wherein the guide handle is provided to the transportation vulnerable person to move to the determined drop-off point, the guide handle includes one or more sensors-a camera to detect the position and the direction of the guide handle,
- in the guide handle, includes a speaker that provides a notification about the surroundings of the destination.
