Multi-channel blood viscosity measuring device

A multi-channel blood viscosity measuring device comprising:

• a blood sample mounting tray with a plurality of blood collection tube mounting holes arranged in a two-dimensional array configured to mount a plurality of blood collection tubes;
• a blood sample preprocessor having:
• a blood collection tube detector having a laser or image scanner configured to generate blood collection tube mounting information including coordinates of locations and number of the plurality of blood collection tubes,
• at least one preprocessing clamp assembly, and
• a preprocessing position adjuster having a plurality of preprocessing actuators to move the at least one preprocessing clamp assembly in three (3) axis directions;
• a blood sample transferor, wherein the at least one preprocessing clamp assembly is configured to automatically pick up the plurality of blood collection tubes randomly placed on the blood sample mounting tray based on detected coordinates in an operator-free manner, and transfer the plurality of blood collection tubes to the blood sample transferor;
• a blood viscosity measurer having a plurality of channels, each of the plurality of the channels having a separate viscosity analyzer receiving a blood viscosity measuring kit,
• wherein the blood viscosity measurer measures a viscosity of a plurality of blood samples injected into the respective blood viscosity measuring kits from the plurality of blood collection tubes, simultaneously;
• and
• a blood sample post-processor configured to mount the blood viscosity measuring kit including a micro-channel assembly on the blood viscosity measurer, suction a blood sample from the blood collection tube, and inject the blood sample into the mounted blood viscosity measuring kit including the micro-channel assembly.
