Abstract
Provided is a refrigerator. The refrigerator is characterized by enabling at least a part of a refrigerator door to be selectively transparent by a user's operation, such that the user sees through an inside of the refrigerator while the refrigerator door is closed.
Claims20
A refrigerator, comprising:
- a cabinet configured to form a storage space and provided with a controller;
- a first hinge mounted on the cabinet and including a first rotating axis;
- a first door that rotates with respect to the first rotating axis of the first hinge to open and close the storage space, and that includes a first hinge installation part recessed from a top surface of the first door and an opening communicating with the storage space;
- a first hinge cover installed on the cabinet to cover the first hinge;
- a second hinge installed on the first hinge installation part and including a second rotating axis;
- a second door that rotates with respect to the second rotating axis of the second hinge to open and close the opening, and that includes a second hinge installation part recessed forward from the first hinge installation part;
- a second hinge cover disposed in a space formed by the first hinge installation part and the second hinge installation part to cover the second hinge;
- a first wire extending from the second door and connected to a first connector at an end thereof;
- and
- a second wire extending from a second connector which is coupled to the first connector, and passing through the first rotating axis.
