Abstract
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a retractable animal leash with a grip strengthening exercise feature, comprising: a leash housing a leash; a brake for the leash; a first hand grip, wherein the first hand grip is a standard hand grip; an interchange member, wherein the interchange member is configured to lock and unlock the first hand grip; and a second hand grip interchangeable with the first hand grip, wherein the second hand grip has a grip strengthening feature configured to be squeezed against the resistance of a spring.

A retractable animal leash with a grip strengthening exercise feature, comprising:
- a leash housing
- a leash;
- a brake for the leash;
- a first hand grip, wherein the first hand grip is a standard hand grip;
- an interchange member, wherein the interchange member is configured to lock and unlock the first hand grip;
- and
- a second hand grip interchangeable with the first hand grip, wherein the second hand grip has a grip strengthening feature configured to be squeezed against the resistance of a spring.
