Abstract
Provided is a display device and a method for manufacturing the same. A display device includes, a display panel, a driving chip attached onto the display panel, a printed circuit board attached onto the display panel and including an opening exposing the driving chip, and a cover tape at least partially covering each of the display panel, the driving chip, and the printed circuit board.

A display device comprising:
- a display panel;
- a driving chip attached onto the display panel;
- a printed circuit board attached onto the display panel and including an opening exposing the driving chip;
- and
- a cover tape at least partially covering each of the display panel, the driving chip, and the printed circuit board.

An electronic device comprising:
- a display panel;
- a flexible film attached onto the display panel;
- a driving chip attached onto the flexible film;
- a printed circuit board attached onto the flexible film and including an opening exposing the driving chip;
- and
- a cover tape at least partially covering each of the flexible film, the driving chip, and the printed circuit board, wherein the cover tape is attached to at least a partial area of the flexible film or at least a partial area of the printed circuit board.

A method for manufacturing a display device, the method comprising:
- providing a display panel on which a driving chip and a printed circuit board including an opening exposing the driving chip are mounted, a cover tape at least partially covering each of the display panel, the driving chip, and the printed circuit board, and a liner configured to be attached onto the printed circuit board;
- and
- bending the display panel using a vacuum adsorption pad that is in direct contact with the cover tape and the liner.
