Abstract
A method for reporting terminal capability information is performed by a terminal, and includes: sending, to a first base station, first terminal capability information for group paging; wherein the first terminal capability information indicates whether or not the terminal supports paging the terminal by the group paging.

A method for reporting terminal capability information, performed by a terminal, the method comprising:
- sending, to a first base station, first terminal capability information for group paging;
- wherein the first terminal capability information indicates that the terminal supports paging the terminal by the group paging;
- and
- the first terminal capability information comprises:
- second information configured for indicating a capability that the terminal supports grouping according to a statistical probability value of the terminal being paged, and configured for a core network device to determine a group to which the terminal belongs according to the statistical probability value;
- and
- third information configured for indicating a capability that the terminal supports grouping according to a probability level of a statistical probability value of the terminal being paged, and configured for the core network device to determine the group to which the terminal belongs according to the probability level.
