Communication method between multi-link devices and apparatus

A communications apparatus comprising:

• a transceiver and a processor,
• wherein the transceiver is configured to cooperate with the processor to send downlink traffic indication information to a first station (STA) multi-link device,
• wherein the first STA multi-link device communicates with a first access point (AP) multi-link device over a plurality of links, comprises one or more second STAs sharing an association identifier (AID),
• wherein one second STA included in the first STA multi-link device operates on one of the plurality of links, and
• wherein the downlink traffic indication information comprises information indicating whether the first STA multi-link device has a downlink traffic;
• and
• the transceiver is further configured to cooperate with the processor to send the downlink traffic.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer instructions, which when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations including:

• sending downlink traffic indication information to a first station (STA) multi-link device,
• wherein the first STA multi-link device communicates with a first access point (AP) multi-link device over a plurality of links, comprises one or more second STAs sharing an association identifier (AID),
• wherein one second STA included in the first STA multi-link device operates on one of the plurality of links, and
• wherein the downlink traffic indication information comprises information indicating whether the first STA multi-link device has a downlink traffic;
• and
• sending the downlink traffic.
