Abstract
A vibration apparatus includes a vibration member, a cover member, and a vibration generating part between the vibration member and the cover member. At least a portion of vibration generating part is configured to be one body with or directly connected with the vibration member.
Claims27
A vibration apparatus, comprising:
- a vibration member;
- a cover member;
- and
- a vibration generating part disposed between the vibration member and the cover member, the vibration generating part comprising:
- a vibration layer including a piezoelectric material;
- a first electrode layer disposed at a first surface of the vibration layer;
- and
- a second electrode layer disposed at a second surface of the vibration layer different from the first surface,
- wherein at least a portion of the vibration generating part is configured to be one body with or directly connected with the vibration member,
- wherein the vibration member comprises fiber reinforced plastic having an orientation defined by a filler included in the fiber reinforced plastic, and
- wherein the vibration member directly contacts the second electrode layer without an adhesive layer therebetween, and the vibration member surrounds a lateral surface of the vibration layer.

A vibration apparatus, comprising:
- a vibration member comprising a plurality of vibration plates laminated together, each vibration plate comprising a fiber-reinforced plastic with a filler having a directional fiber orientation;
- a cover member;
- and
- a vibration generating part disposed between the vibration member and the cover member, the vibration generating part comprising:
- a vibration layer including a piezoelectric material;
- a first electrode layer disposed at a first surface of the vibration layer;
- and
- a second electrode layer disposed at a second surface of the vibration layer different from the first surface,
- wherein the vibration member directly contacts the second electrode layer without an adhesive layer therebetween, and the vibration member surrounds at least a portion of a lateral surface of the vibration layer,
- wherein at least a portion of the vibration generating part is configured to be one body with or directly connected with the vibration member, and
- wherein at least two of the vibration plates have different fiber orientations, the filler being structural stiffness-defining fibers of the fiber-reinforced plastic vibration plates.
