Abstract
An image encoding/decoding method and device according to the present disclosure may: partition a current block into a plurality of subregions; derive a control point vector of a current subregion among the plurality of subregions; derive a motion vector of the current subregion on the basis of the control point vector; and generate a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of the motion vector of the current subregion.
Claims15
An image decoding method, the method comprising:
- partitioning a current block into a plurality of sub-regions;
- for each sub-region of the plurality of sub-regions, deriving one or more control point vectors independently from control point vectors derived for other sub-regions;
- for each sub-region of the plurality of sub-regions, deriving one or more motion vectors based on the one or more control point vectors for each sub-region;
- and
- generating prediction samples of the current block based on the motion vectors of the plurality of sub-regions.
An image encoding method, the method comprising:
- partitioning a current block into a plurality of sub-regions;
- for each sub-region of the plurality of sub-regions, determining one or more control point vectors independently from control point vectors derived for other sub-regions;
- for each sub-region of the plurality of sub-regions, determining one or more motion vectors based on the one or more control point vectors for each sub-region;
- and
- generating prediction samples of the current block based on the motion vectors of the plurality of sub-regions.
A method for transmitting data for image information, the method comprising:
- obtaining a bitstream for the image information, wherein the bitstream is generated based on partitioning a current block into a plurality of sub-regions,
- for each sub-region of the plurality of sub-regions, determining one or more control point vectors independently from control point vectors derived for other sub-regions,
- for each sub-region of the plurality of sub-regions, determining one or more motion vectors based on the one or more control point vectors for each sub-region
- generating prediction samples of the current block based on the motion vectors of the plurality of sub-regions,
- generating a bitstream by encoding the current block based on the prediction samples of the current block;
- and
- transmitting the data including the bitstream.
