Abstract
Dynamic session headers for a computing session via a remote dictionary are provided. A system establishes a session responsive to receiving a first request from a browser, the session authenticated using a cookie configured to access a first electronic record. The system stores data corresponding to the session in a remote dictionary server. The system identifies a second request to modify the session to access a second electronic record and accesses, using the cookie, the data corresponding to the session from the remote dictionary server. The system receives, using a reverse proxy technique, data to update the session. The system modifies the session by storing the second identifier in the remote dictionary server and provides the browser with access to the second electronic record via the session.
Claims16
A system, comprising:
- one or more processors, coupled with memory, to:
- establish a session responsive to receiving a first request from a browser, the session authenticated using a session identifier stored via a cookie, and the session configured to access a first electronic record related to a first plan corresponding to a first identifier, wherein data corresponding to the session is stored in a remote dictionary server and comprises the session identifier stored via the cookie;
- identify a second request to modify the session to access a second electronic record related to a second plan corresponding to a second identifier, the second request comprising the cookie;
- identify, based on the cookie and a request identifier or location corresponding to the second request, an application programming interface (API) server of a plurality of servers is authorized to update one or more headers of the second request;
- access, using the cookie and in response to the second request, the data corresponding to the session from the remote dictionary server;
- receive, using a reverse proxy technique, data to update the session;
- and
- modify, responsive to receipt of the data to update the session, the session by storing the second identifier in the remote dictionary server to provide the browser with access to the second electronic record via the session that was established for accessing the first electronic record.
A method, comprising:
- establishing, by one or more processors coupled with memory, a session responsive to receiving a first request from browser, the session authenticated using a session identifier stored via a cookie, and the session configured to access a first electronic record related to a first plan corresponding to a first identifier, wherein establishing comprises storing data corresponding to the session in a remote dictionary server and comprises the session identifier stored via the cookie;
- identifying, by the one or more processors, a second request to modify the session to access a second electronic record related to a second plan corresponding to a second identifier, the second request comprising the cookie;
- identify, based on the cookie and a request identifier or location corresponding to the second request, an application programming interface (API) server of a plurality of servers is authorized to update one or more headers of the second request:
- accessing, by the one or more processors using the cookie and in response to the second request, the data corresponding to the session from the remote dictionary server;
- receiving, by the one or more processors, using a reverse proxy technique, data for updating the session;
- and
- modifying, by the one or more processors responsive to receiving the data for updating the session, the session by storing the second identifier in the remote dictionary server and providing the browser with access to the second electronic record via the session that was established for accessing the first electronic record.
A non-transitory computer-readable media (CRM) having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- establish a session responsive to receiving a first request from a browser, the session authenticated using a session identifier stored via a cookie, and the session configured to access a first electronic record related to a first plan corresponding to a first identifier, wherein data corresponding to the session is stored in a remote dictionary server and comprises the session identifier stored via the cookie;
- identify a second request to modify the session to access a second electronic record related to a second plan corresponding to a second identifier, the second request comprising the cookie;
- identify, based on the cookie and a request identifier or location corresponding to the second request, an application programming interface (API) server of a plurality of servers is authorized to update one or more headers of the second request;
- access, using the cookie and in response to the second request, the data corresponding to the session from the remote dictionary server;
- receive, using a reverse proxy technique, data to update the session;
- and
- modify, responsive to receipt of the data to update the session, the session by storing the second identifier in the remote dictionary server and providing the browser with access to the second electronic record via the session that was established for accessing the first electronic record.
