Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for communication networks and network operations for processing partial uses of clustered access rights. The communication networks may include channels such as short-range communication channels, such as Bluetooth, BTLE, and/or near-field communication (NFC) channels.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- an access-control device that:
- receives, via a short-range communication, a request for resource accesses of an event from a first user device of a plurality of user devices at a first time, wherein:
- each of the plurality of user devices share a first access-enabling code,
- the first access-enabling code is associated with a first number of tickets, and
- the request identifies a first quantity of tickets for the resource accesses;
- prioritizes the request for the resource accesses based on a rule indicating that a first request received at the first time is prioritized over subsequent requests for the first access-enabling code received within a defined time period and further based on one or more prioritization criteria including:
- whether the request was received via an intermediate system and a ranking associated with the intermediate system, wherein different access rights are available to each intermediate system of a plurality of intermediate systems for assignment of the access rights for a corresponding section of the event;
- selects, based on the one or more prioritization criteria, one or more tickets from the first quantity of tickets associated with the first access-enabling code;
- processes the first access-enabling code to determine that the first number of tickets exceeds or is equal to the first quantity of tickets;
- enables each of the first quantity of tickets for the resource accesses on determining that the first number of tickets exceeds or is equal to the first quantity of tickets;
- generates an instruction to decrement the first number of tickets associated with the first access-enabling code by the first quantity of tickets in response to enabling each of the first quantity of tickets for the resource accesses;
- and
- transmits the instruction to a remote server, wherein the remote server:
- identifies one or more second user devices associated with the first access-enabling code, wherein each of the one or more second user devices are adapted to request for resource access at a second time, and
- decrements the first number of tickets corresponding to the first access-enabling code of the one or more second user devices by the first quantity of tickets.

A live event system, the live event system comprising one or more processors and one or more memories with code for:
- receiving, via a short-range communication a request for resource accesses from a first user device of a plurality of user devices at a first time, wherein:
- each of the plurality of user devices share a first access-enabling code, the first access-enabling code is associated with a first number of tickets, and the request identifies a first quantity of tickets for the resource accesses;
- prioritizing the request for resource accesses based on a rule indicating that a first request received at the first time is prioritized over subsequent requests for the first access-enabling code received within a defined time period and further based on one or more prioritization criteria including:
- whether the request was received via an intermediate system and a ranking associated with the intermediate system, wherein different access rights are available to each intermediate system of a plurality of intermediate systems for assignment of the access rights for a corresponding section of the event;
- selecting, based on the prioritization criteria, one or more tickets from the first quantity of tickets associated with the first access-enabling code;
- processing the first access-enabling code to determine that the first number of tickets exceeds or is equal to the first quantity of tickets;
- enabling each of the first quantity of tickets for the resource accesses on determining that the first number of tickets exceeds or is equal to the first quantity;
- generating an instruction to decrement the first number of tickets associated with the first access-enabling code by the first quantity of tickets in response to enabling each of the first quantity of tickets for the resource accesses;
- and
- transmitting the instruction to a remote server, wherein the remote server:
- identifies one or more second user devices associated with the first access-enabling code, wherein each of the one or more second user devices are adapted to request for resource access at a second time, and
- decrements the first number of tickets corresponding to the first access-enabling code of the one or more second user devices by the first quantity of tickets.
