Abstract
Systems, methods, and software can be used to manage resource access. In some aspect, a user interface is outputted on an electronic device. The user interface includes information for resource access and a user interface object for controlling a resource access permission. A user input associated with the user interface object is received. In response to receiving the user input, the resource access permission is changed.
Claims17
A method, comprising:
- outputting a user interface on an electronic device, wherein the user interface displays, in a screen, a timeline section that indicates a time duration and a plurality of indications, wherein each indication is associated with a resource access event of the electronic device;
- receiving a user selection of a first indication of the plurality of indications;
- and
- in response to receiving the user selection of the first indication, displaying an event section simultaneously with the timeline section, wherein the event section comprises:
- (1) an indication of a particular application of a plurality of available applications corresponding to the selected first indication;
- (2) an indication of a particular resource of a plurality of resources that was accessed by the particular application at a particular date and time;
- (3) an indication of how many times over a particular time period the particular application has accessed the particular resource;
- and
- (4) a particular user interface object of a plurality of user interface objects for controlling a resource access permission that either allows or denies the particular resource from being accessed by the particular application;
- receiving a user input associated with the particular user interface object;
- and
- in response to receiving the user input, changing the resource access permission of the particular resource for the particular application.

An electronic device, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media coupled to the at least one processor and storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor, wherein the programming instructions, when executed, cause the electronic device to perform operations comprising:
- outputting a user interface on the electronic device, wherein the user interface displays, in a screen, a timeline section that indicates a time duration and a plurality of indications, wherein each indication is associated with a resource access event of the electronic device;
- receiving a user selection of a first indication of the plurality of indications;
- and
- in response to receiving the user selection of the first indication, displaying an event section simultaneously with the timeline section, wherein the event section comprises:
- (1) an indication of a particular application of a plurality of available applications corresponding to the selected first indication;
- (2) an indication of a particular resource of a plurality of resources that was accessed by the particular application at a particular date and time;
- (3) an indication of how many times over a particular time period the particular application has accessed the particular resource;
- and
- (4) a particular user interface object of a plurality of user interface objects for controlling a resource access permission that either allows or denies the particular resource from being accessed by the particular application;
- receiving a user input associated with the particular user interface object;
- and
- in response to receiving the user input, changing the resource access permission of the particular resource for the particular application.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer instructions, that when executed by one or more processors, cause an electronic device to perform operations comprising:
- outputting a user interface on the electronic device, wherein the user interface displays, in a screen a timeline section that indicates a time duration and a plurality of indications, wherein each indication is associated with a resource access event of the electronic device;
- receiving a user selection of a first indication of the plurality of indications;
- and
- in response to receiving the user selection of the first indication, displaying an event section simultaneously with the timeline section, wherein the event section comprises:

- (2) an indication of a particular resource of a plurality of resources accessed by the particular application at a particular date and time;

- (4) a particular user interface object of a plurality of user interface objects for controlling a resource access permission that either allows or denies the particular resource from being accessed by the particular application;
- receiving a user input associated with the particular user interface object;
- and
- in response to receiving the user input, changing the resource access permission of the particular resource for the particular application.
