Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a selection of a set of control channel monitoring skip durations, of multiple candidate sets of control channel monitoring skip durations. The UE may receive an indication of a control channel monitoring skip duration of the set of control channel monitoring skip durations. The UE may refrain from monitoring a control channel during a time period associated with the control channel monitoring skip duration. Numerous other aspects are described.
Claims30
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving an indication of a selection of a set of control channel monitoring skip durations, of multiple candidate sets of control channel monitoring skip durations, each candidate set of the multiple candidate sets including a respective control channel monitoring skip duration with a value that is different from values of control channel monitoring skip durations included in other candidate sets of the multiple candidate sets;
- receiving an indication of a control channel monitoring skip duration of the set of control channel monitoring skip durations;
- transmitting an acknowledgment of the indication of the control channel monitoring skip duration;
- and
- refraining from monitoring a control channel during a time period associated with the control channel monitoring skip duration.
A method of wireless communication performed by a network node, comprising:
- transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a selection of a set of control channel monitoring skip durations, of multiple candidate sets of control channel monitoring skip durations, each candidate set of the multiple candidate sets including a respective control channel monitoring skip duration with a value that is different from values of control channel monitoring skip durations included in other candidate sets of the multiple candidate sets;
- transmitting, to the UE, an indication of a control channel monitoring skip duration of the set of control channel monitoring skip durations;
- and
- receiving an acknowledgment of the indication of the control channel monitoring skip duration.
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
- receive an indication of a selection of a set of control channel monitoring skip durations, of multiple candidate sets of control channel monitoring skip durations, each candidate set of the multiple candidate sets including a respective control channel monitoring skip duration with a value that is different from values of control channel monitoring skip durations included in other candidate sets of the multiple candidate sets;
- receive an indication of a control channel monitoring skip duration of the set of control channel monitoring skip durations;
- transmit an acknowledgment of the indication of the control channel monitoring skip duration;
- and
- refrain from monitoring a control channel during a time period associated with the control channel monitoring skip duration.
A network node for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
- transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a selection of a set of control channel monitoring skip durations, of multiple candidate sets of control channel monitoring skip durations, each candidate set of the multiple candidate sets including a respective control channel monitoring skip duration with a value that is different from values of control channel monitoring skip durations included in other candidate sets of the multiple candidate sets;
- transmit, to the UE, an indication of a control channel monitoring skip duration of the set of control channel monitoring skip durations;
- and
- receive an acknowledgment of the indication of the control channel monitoring skip duration.
