Abstract
An apparatus comprises an antenna array comprising a plurality of antennas. The apparatus comprises a communication interface for receiving a control signal. The apparatus is configured to form a first radio frequency beam in accordance with a predetermined test case independent from the control signal using the antenna array. The apparatus is configured to form a second radio frequency beam that is different from the predetermined test case responsive to instructions contained in the control signal.

An apparatus comprising:
- an antenna arrangement comprising at least one antenna;
- a communication interface for receiving a control signal;
- wherein the apparatus is configured to use a first spatial receive filter in accordance with a predetermined test case and a second spatial receive filter different from the predetermined test case responsive to the control signal, using the antenna array;
- and
- wherein the first and second spatial receive filter relates to at least one of a polarization of a transceived signal to which the antenna arrangement is adapted and an at least two dimensional pattern received with the antenna, and
- wherein the apparatus is configured to receive the control signal and to store information derived thereof, the information containing instructions to execute an action at a time indicated in the control signal, wherein the apparatus is configured to execute the action at the indicated time.
An apparatus comprising:
- an antenna arrangement comprising at least one antenna;
- a communication interface for receiving a control signal;
- wherein based on the control signal the apparatus is configured to use a second spatial receive filter instead of a first spatial receive filter associated with a predetermined test to thereby deviate from the predetermined test case;
- wherein the first and second spatial receive filter relates to at least one of a polarization of a transceived signal to which the antenna arrangement is adapted and an at least two dimensional pattern received with the antenna array, and
- wherein the apparatus is configured to receive the control signal and to store information derived thereof, the information containing instructions to execute an action at a time indicated in the control signal, wherein the apparatus is configured to execute the action at the indicated time.
A method for operating an apparatus comprising an antenna arrangement comprising at least one antenna and comprising a communication interface for receiving a control signal, the method comprising:
- using a first spatial receive filter in accordance with a predetermined test case;
- and
- using a second spatial receive filter different from a first spatial receive filter that is in accordance with a predetermined test case to thereby deviate from the predetermined test case responsive to the control signal;
- wherein the first and second spatial receive filter relates to at least one of a polarization of a transceived signal to which the antenna arrangement is adapted and an at least two dimensional pattern received with the antenna array, and
- wherein the apparatus is configured to receive the control signal and to store information derived thereof, the information containing instructions to execute an action at a time indicated in the control signal, wherein the apparatus is configured to execute the action at the indicated time.
