Abstract
An antenna module includes: an antenna mounted to a mount surface; and an artificial magnetic conductor having a plate shape and arranged so as to be adjacent to the antenna, the artificial magnetic conductor having a first surface on which a plurality of first unit cells are regularly arrayed. The artificial magnetic conductor has a base end adjacent to the antenna, and the first surface extends from the base end along the mount surface.
Claims11
An antenna module comprising:
- a base substrate mounted to a mount surface;
- an antenna mounted to the mount surface proximate to the base substrate;
- and
- a conductor member having a plate shape and arranged so as to be adjacent to the antenna, the conductor member having a first surface on which a plurality of first unit cells made of a conductor are regularly arrayed, wherein
- the conductor member has a base end adjacent to the antenna,
- the first surface extends from the base end along the mount surface,
- when the first surface is viewed in a plan view, an imaginary perpendicular line extending from a radiation surface of the antenna overlaps the first surface in the plan view, and
- an angle of the imaginary perpendicular line with respect to the mount surface is from 15 to 50 degrees.

A vehicle comprising:
- a vehicle body;
- an antenna mounted to an upper surface of the vehicle body;
- and
- a conductor member having a plate shape and mounted to the upper surface so as to be adjacent to the antenna, the conductor member having a first surface on which a plurality of first unit cells made of a conductor are regularly arrayed, wherein
- the conductor member has a base end adjacent to the antenna,
- the first surface extends from the base end along the upper surface,
- when the first surface is viewed in a plan view, an imaginary perpendicular line extending from a radiation surface of the antenna overlaps the first surface in the plan view, and
- an angle of the imaginary perpendicular line with respect to the upper surface is from 15 to 50 degrees.
