Multi-dimensional experience presentation using augmented reality

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• at least memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the system to perform operations comprising:
• generating experience data of a recorded experience of a user, the experience data describing a first real-world environment of the recorded experience, wherein the experience data comprises recorded perspectives associated with at least one point of interest, each recorded perspective comprising image data depicting a portion of the first real-world environment visible from a corresponding point of interest, the recorded perspectives being captured by a capture device of one or more devices of the user during the experience;
• identifying at least one point of interest associated with the first real-world environment of the recorded experience by:
• monitoring biometric data of the user during the recorded experience;
• detecting changes in the biometric data between successive time periods during the experience;
• determining a physiological response of the user during the experience based on the detected changes in the biometric data transgressing a predetermined threshold value at a temporal location and detecting an object in the recorded perspective when the physiological response of the user is determined;
• and
• designating the temporal location as the at least one point of interest, wherein the recorded perspective associated with the at least one point of interest comprise the object;
• and
• causing presentation, by a display device of the one or more devices of the user, of a visual representation of the recorded experience overlaid on a second real-world environment that is within a field of view of the user, the visual representation of the experience comprising a representation of the first real-world environment and representations of the one or more points of interest displayed in conjunction with the representation of the first real-world environment, wherein representations of the at least one point of interest are each selectable to cause the display device to switch to a corresponding presentation of the recorded perspective associated with the selected point of interest, the presentation of the recorded perspective comprising the object.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, the computer-readable storage medium including instructions that when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform operations comprising:

• generating experience data of a recorded experience of a user, the experience data describing a first real-world environment of the recorded experience, wherein the experience data comprises recorded perspectives associated with at least one point of interest, each recorded perspective comprising image data depicting a portion of the first real-world environment visible from a corresponding point of interest, the recorded perspectives being captured by a capture device of one or more devices of the user during the experience;
• identifying at least one point of interest associated with the first real-world environment of the recorded experience by:
• monitoring biometric data of the user during the recorded experience;
• detecting changes in the biometric data between successive time periods during the experience;
• determining a physiological response of the user during the experience based on the detected changes in the biometric data transgressing a predetermined threshold value at a temporal location and detecting an object in the recorded perspective when the physiological response of the user is determined;
• and
• designating the temporal location as the at least one point of interest, wherein the recorded perspective associated with the at least one point of interest comprise the object;
• and
• causing presentation, by a display device of the one or more devices of the user, of a visual representation of the recorded experience overlaid on a second real-world environment that is within a field of view of the user, the visual representation of the experience comprising a representation of the first real-world environment and representations of the one or more points of interest displayed in conjunction with the representation of the first real-world environment, wherein representations of the at least one point of interest are each selectable to cause the display device to switch to a corresponding presentation of the recorded perspective associated with the selected point of interest, the presentation of the recorded perspective comprising the object.
